There are TWO different serving size options for the Brisket. Please make sure you choose the right one for you.
Smoked Brisket 2Lbs (8-10 Servings)
Slowly smoked and roasted Angus brisket, rubbed with our famous Southwestern Spice. Vacuum packaged and frozen. 6 month freezer shelf life. Average 8-10 servings.
1. Bring a large pot (twice the size of the brisket is a good rule of thumb) 2/3 full of water to a rolling boil on your stove.
2. Reduce to a simmer. Submerge brisket, still sealed in the vacuum pack, into the water and cook for 30-40 minutes. (It is preferred that you thaw the brisket overnight in the fridge first, however, if you forgot or did not have time, whatever you do, DO NOT MICROWAVE IT. Just let it simmer in the pot for an extra15-20 minutes.)
2. Carefully remove from water with tongs and place on a plate or cutting board. Open one end of packaging and slide brisket out.
3. Let stand for 5 minutes, then carve and serve you BBQ genius ;)
